Jack is a fourth year PhD student at the University of Manchester researching Biotechnology – the capacity for microalgae to act as biofuel producers.

Jack has been with Creator Fund for two years, championing the North of England as a hub for entrepreneurial talent and innovation. He heads up the North team, whilst also having roles as an investment analyst and managing key stakeholder relationships. Prior to joining the Fund, Jack won 3 awards at the Young Entrepreneurs Scheme competition (YES19) and completed a professional placement at the University of Manchester Innovation Factory. Jack has expertise in life sciences and medtech sectors, whilst having a strong interest in Industry 4.0 technologies such as Augmented Reality and advanced materials.
