Marcel is a PhD student in Computing (Quantum Technologies for Cryptography and Machine Learning) at Imperial College London. Before that, he spent two years working on similar technologies at NASA Ames, Quantinuum, and OIST, after completing his MPhil in Micro and Nanotechnology Enterprise at Cambridge as a Cambridge Trust Scholar and his BSc in Natural Sciences at UCL. Marcel won numerous business pitching competitions, like the Generation Freedom Competition, SchneiderGoGreen Challenge, and BrightSCIdea Challenge. He was a Leader of Tomorrow at the 52nd St. Gallen Symposium. He is interested in startups related to quantum technologies, new forms of computing, AI and ML, smart materials and smart devices.
