University:

Oskar is a 2nd-year PhD student in Machine Learning at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). He develops graph neural networks as fast surrogate models for complex physical simulators and integrates them into reinforcement-learning environments for control and policy experimentation. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Operations Research and Machine Learning - and before that he studied law for one year. Before his PhD, Oskar worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, sharpening his commercial and analytical mindset. His interests span applied ML in pharma (personalised medicine, disease prediction, data-driven drug discovery), legal tech (AI-enhanced ERP), scientific computing and physics (accelerating simulators, RL), and finance (fintech, energy trading, quantitative trading).
