Sophie Sadler

Sophie is a PhD candidate in explainable machine learning at Swansea University in Wales. Her research is focused on bringing greater understanding to opaque algorithms, especially those in social network analysis and graph machine learning, often by incorporating techniques in data visualisation. Previously, she studied mathematics at the University of Cambridge and has worked at both Microsoft Research and Meta (formerly Facebook) on a range of machine learning projects.
