Neuranics

Neuranics have developed a novel magnetic sensor which allows the practical measurement of bio-magnetic signals, particularly for measuring magnetic field changes arising from neural signals sent to muscles.

Different types of magnetic sensor have been previously developed. However, these have trade-offs between performance and practical constraints - notably cost, size, and energy consumption. Ideally, one would like to have a small, mass-manufacturable and robust sensor that operates at room-temperature, has low power consumption and high sensitivity.
