Erkin is a PhD student at Tallinn University of Technology. His research topic is developing novel and sustainably produced electrocatalysts to increase fuel cells' performance and economic viability. Currently, he is based in Leuven, Belgium, working for IMEC, a renowned R&D hub for nanoelectronics and digital technologies. He is involved in the research and development of a high-throughput CO2 electrolyzer for the conversion of CO2 to valuable carbon compounds. Erkin's areas of expertise include materials science, electrochemistry, analytical chemistry, and nanomaterials.
