Bayesian AI

Marco Hidalgo Araya is a PhD candidate in the Signal Processing Systems group at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology. He focuses on designing and developing real-time Bayesian agents for personalised audio processing applications. He holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with a specialisation in BioMechatronics from Delft University of Technology. Prior to his doctoral studies, Marco spent six years as an AI and signal processing researcher at IMEC—a renowned R&D hub for nanoelectronics and digital technologies—and at Philips Research. There, he developed end-to-end signal processing and machine learning pipelines for wearable devices used in remote monitoring.
