Paulina Kaas

Paulina is a PhD candidate in Physical Chemistry with a background in Molecular Medicine. Her research focuses on developing advanced microscopy techniques to improve cryogenic correlative light and electron microscopy (cryo-CLEM) and super-resolution imaging. Combining her scientific and medical perspectives has made her passionate about technology development and its translation into real-world applications. Outside her PhD, she mentors and judges teams in the iGEM competition, supporting innovation in synthetic biology and biotechnology.
