Sofia Gilardini

Sofia is a DPhil student in Probabilistic Machine Learning at the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on developing generalisable models that can robustly quantify and manage uncertainty, with the goal of making reliable predictions in real-world environments. She has experience working on computer vision algorithms and automation at Apple, as well as robotic control at a MedTech startup. Sofia holds an MPhil in Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge and a BEng in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
